Melanie Has Arrived

Yay, I'm here now! Very Happy

I'm sure you all know me by now, but I'll give a quick introduction anyway. Razz

My name is Melanie (also my real name), I'm 27, female, I live in the US state of Michigan, I'm good friends with both J-Ster and Jirachu, and I've been using forums for over sixteen years. My number one favorite thing is writing, and my dream is to become a professional writer and published author someday. I'm currently writing the fourth draft of the first book in my Creators of Gem Magic modern fantasy series, which I want to try to publish someday.

Some other random facts about me:

- I love tea and have a huge collection of it. xD (I'm also drinking a cup right now.)
- I'm a major Pokémon fan and have been for years. My first game was Blue Version in 1999, and I started becoming a huge fan of the series in 2003, around when R/S came out.
- I joined my first forum in July 2004 iirc. A month or so later, I joined my first Pokémon forum and met Jirachu! Smile

- I've created way too many forums over the years. Razz

I mostly stick to owning one these days.
- I'm a Pegasister and have been for nearly a decade now (thanks to Jirachu for telling me about FiM)!
- I love pink, girly, and cute things. :3

It's fun to use Forumotion again, it's been a while since I've used it since the forums I'm active on now use Proboards. Some of the features are nostalgic and remind me of the 2000's, which I love, though some of them are limited (avatars have to be a certain size, for example). I like that you can change the color of thread titles, that's pretty cool. I think the forum I joined in July 2004 must have been on Forumotion, because I recognize the smilies from there. No wonder I find this place nostalgic.
