Forum Games Guidelines
Welcome to the Forum Games section of this forum! We have a few simple guidelines that we wish to lay out here (to avoid stuff like duplicate topics and spam)
1) Check that your game doesn't already exist.
Please check the first three pages of the forum game board to check your topic doesn't already exist. If it does already exist, then please revive the existing thread already.
2. Please wait at least a week before double-posting. Then at least another week before triple-posting
3. However, please don't post 4 times in a row.
At this point, it's obvious no one is interested in playing the forum game. So it's best just to move on to another game.
Thank you for reading and understanding. Have fun!
4. Please don't create any counting games
We currently have two counting games: "1,000 Posts", and "Count to this number before the month ends". The reason we don'tt want any more created is because the standard forum counting games are a bit dull. Most of the time it's just people posting a lone number. There's usually no skill, conversations, or fun in most counting games. So to avoid the forum games section being full of counting games, please could no more be made. Thanks!
5. Please don't ask specific questions about hobbies/TV show in opinion based games
In games such as "Give an opinion about the thing above", please don't ask for an opinion on something like a specific episode, or character from any TV show. These questions can only be answered by people who've seen whatever show is being mentioned. People who haven't seen whatever show is mentioned in the above post will not know who to give a proper answer, and if this happens too often, that person will mostly likely get fed up of the game and stop playing it. It's fine to ask for an opinion on a TV show, since anyone who hasn't seen it can just say "I've never seen it."
Likewise, in "The prediction game", please avoid asking questions that can only be answered by people who've seen whatever show is being mentioned above. It's fine to ask something like "The next poster has watched the sitcom Friends?" But don't make questions about stuff like episodes or asking who people's favourite characters are. For the same reasons listed above.
It's fine to mention specific references to TV shows in forum games such as "You're Promoted", or "Five Facts About You", and other similar games.

Re: Forum Games Guidelines
I've added in a couple of new rules to the guidelines now.
